Ufood Technical Update

Well, we’re off to just a fantastic start with my latest offering- UFood Grill- UFFC. I launched last week when the stock was trading at the absurdly oversold level of $.12, and now that investors understand the company is cashed up again, the stock has been nearly a triple in a few short trading days.

As you can see, from the $.12 start, the stock has now appreciated 166%- from $.12 to a high of $.32.

It’s done better than even I thought it would in the short term. I don’t think having a 500 point up day in the DOW hurt one bit.

If you’re watching this, and think you missed the boat, you’re probably right if you want the absolute bottom.

From a common sense point of view, I would not suggest buying now. In fact, if you were an early buyer, it might make some sense to limit your risk and take some money off the table.

If you’re looking to get in or add more, here’s a chart with FIB retracements. Your first level to look at is $.25- a buy there. at $.19 it’s a strong buy.

Comments and questions are welcome.

  1. You think that we could get beck to the $2.00 level next year?

Editor: The price target I have from today’s levels is $.75. I think that’s reasonable. Out into 2010, $2 is a possibility depending on several factors related to the recent financing, and how it finds its way into the market. We have 6 months before we have to worry about how it might affect the price in the market.

  2. sounds like spkl all over again and we all know how that did

Editor: Could be. It’s very risky. If you don’t like risk, stay away. It’s not for you.

  3. I like the basic idea but spkl is the same type of fast casual, targeted toward the white collar customer. Between both spkl and uffc which is the strongest for the long hold. I’m an investor not a speculator I’m looking at 5-7 years down the road. I would like to buy more spkl, I already own 15,000 shares. What to you suggest between the two? Jeresy Jim Kuwait

Editor: Wow- that’s a tough call. SPKL is a lot farther along than UFFC with about 50 stores open. UFFC has a bit of a more revolutionary concept. UFFC is less risky right now from a cash point of view. SPKL from an operations point of view. I could only suggest half and half. I love them both. They are both highly risky, which is why they are penny stocks. But they both have really strong concepts, good management, and great growth potential. I have a little bias towards SPKL as I own a heck of a lot more, but over the coming years you will see a lot more of both of them around.

  4. What is up with the Hawk(nihk)? Haven’t heard any news since the last merge of product lines. Is this stock dead of comming out in the spring? Would like to buy more at .02 for the long haul or will I just be spinning wheels. Jeresy Jim Kuwait

Editor: I haven’t heard a peep out of them either. Perhaps they are grinding through the year end financials before getting busy again.

  5. Pltqe Are they dead? Sounded like a great honest company. I have 20000 shares of this. Will they make a come back or are they off your scope? The stock still trades in respectable volume but it can’t break one cent. Jeresy Jim Kuwait

Editor: I think they are gone. They had taken on debt to get those wells going, and when nat gas and oil took their massive drops, they simply didn’t have the cash flow to service the debts, and they had to go into bankruptcy. Take your tax loss and reinvest elsewhere.

  6. I tried to buy some of this stock but Scottrade said there was no bid/ask price and they wouldn’t execute the purchase. Any ideas as to why this happened??? Thanks,

    Tim Porter

Editor: I have heard of problems from Scottrade on small stocks. You just need to call, and they do it right away. Right now, the stock is out of my buy range recommendation. I’m calling it a buy at $.25, and strong buy at $.20. It’s a bit higher right now.

  7. I heard a Canadian company called CellOne owns the rights to #taxi and they are about to launch #pizza (awesome). What relationship does One Touch Systems have with them.

Editor: If you are referring to Single Touch- they are US based. They don’t own the ADCs with the Canadian wireless carriers- just in the US.
