It seems there is a magical force in the Universe to which all things gravitate. I am writing this today to inform you EFSF has succumbed to the forces of gravity, and headed just where I thought it might head in a year end tax selling blow out (see the last BLOG on 12/14). That’s what a lot of these kinds of stocks do when shareholders have been disappointed by a shortfall in anticipated results.
Without further ado, here’s the chart. I’ve blown it up and extended it to make the gap as identifiable as possible. Look at the two green horizontal lines that delineate the gap, and its subsequent filling earlier today.

The stock has now officially completed a round trip from the level it was when I first wrote about the company.
That gap you see on the left side of the chart was created the first time I wrote about the stock.
Like a homing pigeon, the stock has flown back to its coup. Vacuum filled. Nature happy.
Fundamentally, all I can say is the company is improving. Technically, now is the time to swoop in and grab this stock if you are a buyer. You know all the facts about the company. I have certainly covered them over, and over, and over again. Don’t construe this to be my recommendation you should buy the stock today. There is a lot of controversy and disappointment, and you can read all about it in the archives. I’m saying now is the time if you are a buyer.
If you like the company and you want to own more stock, set aside your fears. Despite already owning 1 million shares which become eligible to be free trading next month, I might jump into 100k for a trade in the am. Since I own a lot, this would just be a trade for me. You might think a bit more long term depending on your goals.
Comments and questions are welcome.
Why do you suppose the company is so closed-mouthed about giving an update about Oraphyte? Why not even a “Universities continue to test” message? How many crop cycles should something like this take? Any thoughts? So much annoying secrecy – and the problem is, investor’s confidence is so low, we can’t help but interpret secrecy as an indication that they’re screwing up, or that news is bad.
Editor: I am in their camp on this one. If there isn’t something substantive to say, wait until there is. Apparently, right now there is nothing substantive to say. When there is, the company will say it- or should I say- if and when there is.
Realistically, how much of a chance do you think there is that EFSF could be a player in the fight against the bird flu?
Editor: I can only go by what the studies say and some knowledge of the way biotech works. If you go just by the studies, they have a good chance of getting a foothold there. You also have to recognize that small companies have a really rough time getting a foothold in the biotech world when competing or trying to have their therapies recognized by the major pharma cos. Therefore, perhaps somewhere between 25/75 and 50/50 might be a guess. However, that’s why investors want to own a $.20 stock- because of that upside wildcard.
One more question: do you see any positive impact from EFSF’s presence at the recent conference in Thailand?
Editor: It simply increases the opportunity for something very positive to happen for investors on that product. Also, it shows they believe enough the therapy to devote some energy and attention to getting it noticed.
Let us suppose the three products launch in March, as scheduled. That would be only a month of advertising within Q1. Nevertheless, combined with whatever Cinnergen will bring in, and even Immune Bar (as paltry as that must be), there’s a shot the company should be profitable in Q1.
Agree?
Editor: To clarify, Q1 for this company is May to July. I can tell you in no uncertain terms the company feels very strongly it will be profitable. Do I agree? On the surface, I believe they will have a shot. I am taking a hard look at the history of Respond2 over the next two weeks, and will have a far more informed opinion post research.

I believe that if a mega-company like DuPont agrees to take a look at a product from a little company like EFSF, they often require total silence from the little company. If they eventually agree to market the product, they will require complete and total control over that as well.
Editor: I sure hope your surmise has some basis in reality. I cannot confirm or deny your suspicions. By that, I really mean I have no knowledge of what is going on.
How could you not cover the biggest news to hit this stock in a while.
NumaDerm Incorporates Novel Food-Grade Component Nano-Encapsulation Technology for Superior and More Efficient Delivery of Ingredients Skincare Line Includes Repair Cream, Ageless Cream, and Fade Cream
Editor: The biggest news for this one will be sales. I believe investors are no longer that interested in product development- they want to see them turn products into revenues. It won’t really start to change until March 1st- so until then developments like today’s are positives, but not big price movers.
They introduced a new product today numa derm where can i buy it? they didn’t say, what happen to pure effect? I don”t get it
Editor: It’s a release on just this product. It’s probably not even for sale yet.
we all been waiting for your up date two or three weeks now. The way things have been going and the time it take to get new from some of these companys I’m thinking it may be bad
Editor: If you are impatient for information, go ahead and get out. That way, if you get the information you are looking for, and you want to get back in, you can do so. Better to be out wishing you were in, than in wishing you were out.
1) Do you feel that the stock has found its bottom and has shown some stability?
2) If so, when do expect the market to pick up?
3) What would be another great entry buy?
Editor:
1. As I wrote in the year end tax selling season in this BLOG- the technical opportunity to buy the stock cheap was back when it filled the $.18 gap- if you followed the BLOG, I bought some myself at that level. The stock is probably completing a bottoming process right now, but I don’t suggest buying it if you are looking for a trade. It’s not the company- it’s the market- we are going through a period of time that doesn’t lend itself to enough volume for big breakouts. However- here’s the good news- if you believe in the company, you can accumulate it right now and own enough to do something significant for yourself when it does.
2. I expect the second half of 2008 to be great for stocks. I’m not sure we are going to have any sort of major rally before the summer- probably a lot of sideways trading. I do believe a full blown recession is already priced in, so if the low interest rates/economic stimulus work, there is lots of upside in the markets.
3. I don’t know what the exact level is, but if the market blows its brains out on another one of these 300 point drop days, and the stock gives ground to the tune of a penny or two, that would be your opportunity.
another pr about a numn derm and respond 2 what does it all mean without sales?
Editor: All will be revealed in the next couple of weeks.
There are a lot of people “hoping” this stock will go up in order to get them out of their holes. Specifically, they bought the stock without knowing what to do about selling the stock. What can be said to those people to give them any sort of comfort? Thanks for the odd-ball request for information:)
Editor: Anytime you buy a stock, you hope someone will be willing to buy that stock from you for a higher price somewhere down the road. Someone might want to buy that stock from you because the company has made notable progress and becomes worth more, and/or the market environment has improved and investors are being more aggressive. In the specific case of EFSF, you are hoping sales will ramp up starting in March with the involvement of Respond2, and the market environment as a whole is better. If you are a buyer today, you simply have to have a longer window in time thanks to the Bear Market environment, and hope your bet pays off.
another pr something about the flu and blowing your nose. can they please tell me I can buy the immune bar at a health food store.
Editor: I don’t believe they can- at least not yet.
re: last blog way can’t they sell the immune bar in store?
Editor: I believe they have plans to do so. It just hasn’t happened yet. Stand by.
2/12 another pr alot about notting can they give a time fame on when it ever any of these products are going to market maybe than this stock well go up a penny
Editor: So, sell it and be done with it.
I’ve been holding this stock for months waiting for something today all the indexs are up and this go’s down. I know .20cents is not alot but why would anyone put more money into this. what is go on here? because I can”t see how they make any money.
Editor: I don’t know what indexes you are looking at, but every major index I follow including some small ones like the DOW, NASDAQ COMP, S&P 500, and Russell 2000, which are absolutely hammered. It was the worst January in the history of the stock market, then we had a two week anemic bounce, and last week was the worst week in 5 years. What indexes do you follow? If you own the stock, you are betting sales will start to improve with the media campaigns Respond2 is putting in place starting March 1. This is one of those can’t win situations. Sell it, and the stock will start trading better. Hold it, and it will remain dead on the screen. Darned if you do, darned if you don’t. Here’s what I would suggest- if you’re not convinced Respond2 will help, sell the stock and get out. I will have more information on Respond2 for investors to chew on within a week or two.
PPS is sinking again. No PRs are going to help this stock, only generating some reveune. And apparently there are not a lot of folks who have much faith in this company’s ability to do that.
Editor: Then sell the stock and get out- geez- never seen so much freaking out over a penny or two. It’s quiet against a backdrop of a bear market. Not so bad if you ask me.
this is were I have a problem you say sell the stock with no info from you or the company.what happen next is the company falls apart ttgl cpne we are just try to find out whats happening and you get all piss off
Editor: There you go. Sell, and when the company has a problem and tells no one, you’ll be out and won’t have to worry. Then you can make another posting pointing out how smart you were.
You wrote to the last two posts:
“Editor: There you go. Sell, and when the company has a problem and tells no one, you’ll be out and won’t have to worry. Then you can make another posting pointing out how smart you were.”
AND
“Editor: Then sell the stock and get out- geez- never seen so much freaking out over a penny or two. It’s quiet against a backdrop of a bear market. Not so bad if you ask me.”
You seem quite testy lately. People are frustrated with this company’s management; we’re not “freaking out over a penny or two.” Frustration with management’s continual failure to deliver sales or even a promised infomercial does not necessarily equal a belief that the company won’t eventually succeed. This is a company with so much potential and so little to show for it other than product announcements. I would describe it more as a test of faith — something you believe in but can raise your blood pressure several points while it’s being worked out. If it bothers you when people express their honest feelings, maybe you need to take a break. No one has accused you of anything; why are you so up tight?
Editor: I’m not uptight at all. Here’s what I know- the sales efforts on being handed off to a totally new entity- one far more skilled and experienced than the internal efforts, which have bombed. If you have read the company’s disclosure, you know Respond2 is going to start their campaigns sometime in March. If you are willing to wait it out and see what happens this time, please do so. If not, then don’t. In the interim, there is little value in pointing out the stock is not going anywhere other than drifting down a bit on lighter volume, which people seem to want to do. Investors have to accept the fact that we are in a Bear Market- volumes are very light, and microcaps, for the most part, are trading poorly. If it concerns you, or anyone else reading this, the EFSF isn’t doing much right now, the solution is simple. Sell the stock. Right now, if you are still in any stock, you should be long term. If you are long term, you shouldn’t care if it goes down a penny or two. If you care a lot, sell the stock. It’s simply not for you, right now. When things improve, which could be anytime between next week and next year, investors can get back to more active trading. For now, it’s not worth losing sleep over. I’m not worried or uptight. I know what kind of market we are in. A month or two down the road, we’ll be in a different environment, and things will change.
as we have all found out lately silence is not always golden. what is the big secret about were they are in the marketing of there products?
Editor: There are no big secrets- their plans have been fully publicly disclosed.
Now what load it up or dump em out. .185 for a close is not what we have been looking for.I guess we will have to wait till March for your update.
Editor: I think it is pretty close to a trading buy.
yes he is testy the company didn’t re up for his coverage
Editor: As a matter of fact, they did. Going to be another year of fun and content.
I would like to respond to Rob. On a technical long term view, based on slow stochastics, the bottom should be around 0.17 and should be reached withing the next one,two or maximul three months.
Personally, I’m waiting to get in and I will below 0.175 somewhere within the coming weeks.
There might be in the meantime some temporarily up-bounds of a 10% or so, but I do not expect a major break through to the upside untill the 0.170 range has been reached. But, this is only my opinion. Don’t know how the editor is looking to EFSF on this matter. Of course, there is ‘real business’ and there is ‘psychological feeling of business’.
Bart
Editor: I believe technically the stock is a buy right now, with an SSL at $.16 to $.165. At the core, we are in agreement with some minor differing on the details.
In your recent article on EFSF & the Qs, you mentioned “The double bottom pattern you see pictured is a favorite of technicians looking for trades on the long side. It’s a high probability trade, and you can use a fairly tight stop of $.16 or any level of your choosing. The stock should turn around from here, but if it does head lower- watch out below. There’s no telling where the bottom will be and all bets will be off. ”
Although I do agree that the double bottom pattern, along with other confirming indcators, can be used as a singnal to be on the long side, I am sure you know that technical analysis is almost useless for stock trading below $5; even less important for literal penny stocks like EFSF. I am long EFSF betting on the “permanent potenitals” the company has not on chart readings; hoping that one or more of their “fantastic” products will shine.
Albert
Editor: Albert, I don’t agree. There are plenty of examples of micros not lending themselves to technical analysis, but oftentimes it works just as well as any other stock. However, it is just one factor in the whole picture of owning the stock, and different stocks do require different trading styles. It can be just as effective to decide you like the company’s products, simply own the stock, and hold your nose through the Bear Market and lackluster performance knowing higher prices are ahead with higher revenues. The most important point- you know your own style.
well the gap was finally filled I think that was a good thing as sick as that sounds. Now we can go and make new highs in the perfect world.Whats your take on that thought?
Editor: That’s my theory, but it won’t happen immediately.
Has anyone noticed over the last 5 days the volumn has gone up. Today’s volumn was over 700,000 shs. I take this as a good sign the stock is getting ready to move.
Editor: It suggests to me that there is some excess supply from some source out there. It also suggests that the stock has gotten cheap enough to where investors are willing to take the risk to jump in, which suggests it could be ready to turn around.
why would it take respond 2 6 to 8 months to come up with a plan to market the products that a ready to go. and where does efsf manufacture there products
Editor: I don’t know exactly where they manufacture, but I have a bunch of them. I have all the Immune bars (the chocolate mint is excellent)- Cinnergen, and the new Cinnergen healing cream. They are gearing up for sales.
When are you expecting an update on this company regarding sales forward, and anything else that may or may not give us confidence in this stock.
Thank you.
Editor: I am working on it right now. I have to interview a certain individual who has a very busy schedule. Hopefully, next week.
why don’t you look at the label to find out where its manufacture if you have all those products?
Editor The labels say Arizona.
If the interview is what’s holding up your next write-up, can I suggest you perhaps release that later, as a follow up? Investors are chomping at the bit for some sort of update / information. Particularly as the stock has disturbingly broken through the .18 resistance. Consider releasing whatever update you have, now. Thanks.
Editor: The only information worth knowing is whether they are going to start selling more product, and the only way they are going to sell more product is with Respond2, unless CK41 finally gets it in gear after taking an extra year to start marketing PurEffect, and Respond2 is involved there as well in the media buys. It’s the key to the bet from here.
I have been tolding this stock for months if it would move up 3 cent I would get out I have a lot other company that have simular product on the market selling efsf is felling behind I don’t think I would put anymore good money into this stock and I think alot of us feel the same whats the problem
Editor: Why not just sell it now and be done with it? You post a comment nearly every day expressing your disappointment. While I don’t mind responding, I don’t see the point. I have repeatedly pointed out we are in a Bear Market. If you are in any of these small stocks you need to be long term right now. Nothing changes day to day. If you are willing to bet on the Respond2 relationship, hang in there and don’t worry about your 3 cents. If you are not, take your loss, get out, and look for something else. You know what’s going to happen. If you sell Monday, the stock will move up your 3 cents before the end of the week. If you don’t, it will continue trading poorly. The choice is yours, but there’s not much point in belly aching about the situation every day. It doesn’t change anything or give you any more information. We all acknowledged the company screwed up in 2007. I am very cautiously optimistic it will change in 2008, because they are turning the marketing over to some real pros. We will see over the longer term, but not much will change by tomorrow.
P gruden is on a 2 week vacation. Or should I say a 6 month vacation. What is really going on there? Why are you selling your shares. Is the party over?Cinnechol is late and the rest is not even in sight. Dont tell me to just sell because you said to just buy when it was .44 cents. When was the last time you spoke to THE COMPAMY and what was said besides that they would give you another million shares? If you feel you are being put on a spot your are because you told eveyone here that this stock was going through .50.Now what sell our shares down to .10?
Editor: I wouldn’t know if Gruden is on vacation. I really don’t care. I only care about Respond2. I have sold a very tiny percentage of my holdings because I have spent a lot of hard cash on the coverage of this company, and have to get some of the money back out. I agreed to extend my coverage another because I believe their new approach to marketing their products could yield results, so I am cautiously optimistic. Over a year ago I suggested if the stock broke through $.50, technically it could go a lot higher. When the market started slipping the other way as it became evident they weren’t producing, I also set the SSL at $.27. If you decided to stay in, that’s your fault. Now, my SSL is $.165. If it drops below that, if you decide to hold take personally responsibility. The problems and shortcomings with this company are well documented by myself and others, so it’s really kind of ridiculous to keep harping on it. If you don’t like what’s going on, sell the stock and get out. If you want to hang in there, hold your nose and keep your fingers crossed. Your choice.
I wanted to blog here to say something to all the negative investors who blame you for their difficulties. If you buy a stock and don’t have a sell discipline, then when the stock declines, you must MUST look only at yourself to blame. If another person sells his/her own shares, that should not be of any concern to you, the investor, as YOU, the investor decided to buy the stock and YOU, the investor, decided to hold in a declining market environment AND in a technical, stock specific decline despite being told where to exit if things worsened. This stock is punishing those who fear if they sell, the stock will go up. Those people, all of them, need to learn the proper way to invest. There are no exceptions to this. You either learn when to sell, or you take full responsibility for your own decisions and actions…or lack there of. I hope this message helps some with open minds and open hearts.
Lewis
Editor: Thanks for the contribution Lewis.
Not sure how often you are in touch with the company, but hoping you can shed some light on why the writing within their web pages is so terrible? I email over and over about typos, but beyond those, the grammar is absolutely horrendous. It’s the most unprofessional writing I have seen anywhere. It’s like they have a 10 year old writing it. See, specifically, the ImmuneBoost site. Go to the “Why Our Bars are so Good for you” page (this originally said, “Why Are Bars are so good for you” by the way.)
This entire section is just a mess. The writer has no clue how to use a comma. Or a hyphen. It’s actually painful to read. I don’t understand how a company can allow this crap to go live. I hold Patricia directly responsible. For a business woman with such a venerable track record…she must have some sense of spelling and grammar to have gotten to where she has. How can she allow this?
If you can pass my disgust along to the company, with the above example, I’d be most obliged. I’d likewise be curious as to your take on it. It’s very disheartening to see a company that has SO underperformed REFUSE to tighten up — at the very least — those small details that could help present a more professional facade to investors with already shaken confidence.
Thanks.
Editor: I haven’t looked at the site, but now you have peaked my curiosity. I went to their home page today, and it was simply a code displayed disaster. You couldn’t navigate, because some designer has completely screwed up the implementation of the code. I couldn’t even get to the Immune Bar section. Amateur hour, and it does reflect badly on the company. However, nothing a quick $10 million in sales couldn’t fix. If the company was doing the numbers, we wouldn’t care so much about the site.
I think you went to their site when it was down or being fixed.” I went to their home page today, and it was simply a code displayed disaster. You couldn’t navigate, because some designer has completely screwed up the implementation of the code. I couldn’t even get to the Immune Bar section. Amateur hour, and it does reflect badly on the company.” I just got off the site and had no problems at all. I was able to go to all of the products without any problem at all. I think you are right 10 million in sales will stop all the bitching here. Can that happen? How much do you feel that Respond2 will be ready in March? Are you getting any closer to your update and or interview? Good luck and I hope you find some positive answers to your questions.
Editor: Yes, I’m getting much closer. Stand by.
Ok I won’t write every day, but I’m not the only one thats disappointed with the way you and the company tell us whats going on you say its the market bs there are penty of biotechs doing well in this market we just want the truth
Editor: I’m not sure what else you want them to tell you. Product sales suck, full disclosure on how they plan to solve the problem. Now, you just have to place your bet. Bet for or against. Your call. You know the facts. In the short term, it falls to Respond2 to make this happen. So, no matter how much you write, the situation remains the same. April, May, June, we may have a different point of view.
Does it appear to you that Respond and CK will finally deliverable advertising on time this time?
Editor: I can comment on the CK issue as I don’t know the answer. It appears that some time next week the CEO of Respond2 will be addressing that issue directly for your benefit. Then, you can make up your own mind.
Is the company being responsive to you these days? Beyond just re-upping your coverage contract…are they returning your calls now? Keeping you in the loop? Issuing you info? Generally being accommodating? I ask because I know for a while there it sounded like they were completely unresponsive.
Editor: I am moving forward with some new content I believe you will find valuable. It will probably be available to you sometime next week.
Is it safe to assume, around the first week of March, we should see some big and rather important press releases about product availability and advertising? A lot of investors seem to be banking on March 1 as the “grand unveiling” of many things. Thoughts?
Editor: I don’t know about any big, important press release. I can say that according to EFSF’s public disclosure, the company is moving forward on its big direct response campaign for three products- according to the news, it will kick off around the end of March. This should help sales considerably- the issue is how much and how soon?
When do you estimate your write-up will be released? Thanks.
Editor: Perhaps next week.
There was so much emphasis on the gap (around .18) being filled. And it was. So we thought it had bottomed out. But now, here we have the stock at .17. Concerning? How low can it go?
Editor: In theory, it can go to zero. I don’t know the answer to that question. In tough markets, stocks can go much lower than you ever expected. In strong markets, stocks can go much higher than you ever expect. I have set the SSL at $.165 (I believe the site says $.16 since the software doesn’t allow 1/2 pennies)- If you were a buyer at $.18, and continue to hold if it trades at or below $.16, you have decided to become long term in my view, which might not be a bad idea at this point. I hope to have some additional information for you next week which will help you decide if you want to be long term.
What’s the latest that you have heard on the OraPhyte project? This is the product that really makes me salivate. I don’t mind the other products as an opportunity to further the OraPhyte project BUT I think OraPhyte has home run potential. Any news on where it’s at or is the company mum about it?
Editor: I don’t have any information on Oraphyte. Lately, I have been working on information related to the coming direct marketing campaigns for Cinnechol, Cinnergen, and Numaderm.
are you kidding now it at the end of march you said according to the news what news its like getting info from a eight ball
Editor: Not sure what you are referring to, but it is what it is.
well it down to .16 did you sell your shares or are you long term. PR you are what you eat boy how did they come up with that one? your going to get a lot of crap on this one
Editor: It strikes me it is probably time for you to sell and get out. Clearly, this is an emotional situation for you, and you are upset with where the stock is trading. To me, it’s just another company with downside risk and upside potential. Your sell or my sell could or will be someone else’s buy, and one of us is going to be right. Perhaps both right if the seller is short term, and the buyer is long term. Sometimes these things are like psychological cancer- but to cut it out so you can get healthy and find something you like. Comments like that are just a waste of time for everyone, including you.
A great article that many of us missed. A good, and uncharacteristically informative read, for you and EFSF shareholders. A bit long, but worth it – hope it’s ok to paste the whole thing:

Knobias Clip Report (02-20-2008)

Submitted By Knobias ClipReport
EFSF: Management Provides Update on Citroxin(TM) and Other Promising Products
Management of eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (EFSF) recently attended the Bangkok International Conference on Avian Influenza 2008. eFoodSafety’s Citroxin(TM) is currently undergoing testing at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, on a chick embryo model, for the product’s ability to safely and effectively eradicate the most virulent form of the bird flu, the H5N1 virus.
Mr. Timothy Matula, Director and Corporate Secretary of eFoodSafety, told Knobias on Wednesday, “We received a great response. There were over eight hundred conference attendees from around the world, and the most rewarding parts of the conference were the times we could speak to people one-on-one. It was an unbelievable networking and knowledge sharing opportunity. We met people who were truly interested in our products and through our contacts we were introduced to people with whom we can work going forward.”
Of the avian influenza viruses that have crossed the species barrier to infect humans, H5N1 has caused the largest number of detected cases of severe disease and death in humans. Of the human cases associated with the ongoing H5N1 outbreaks, more than half of those people infected with the virus have died. Most cases have occurred in previously healthy children and young adults and have resulted from direct or close contact with H5N1-infected poultry or H5N1-contaminated surfaces.
Mr. Matula noted, “Many people do not understand that the H5N1 virus is alive and well and has re-surfaced in the Asian region.”
Citroxin(TM) is an environmentally safe product formulated entirely of food-grade components. In Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) required laboratory tests, Citroxin showed a 100% kill rate for the “big six” bacterial health threats that include E-coli, Listeria, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus, as well as Avian Influenza and Black Mold.”
Mr. Matula explained, “Citroxin and its sister products are being tested in numerous fashions through independent and well respected labs. Our testing methodologies are strong enough to demonstrate results that will be acceptable to the scientific community and then warrant further Phase II and possibly Phase III studies. Virtually no natural products go through this level of clinical testing.”
“Market opportunities are vast for Citroxin. There are very few products that effectively treat viruses. Those that are natural are limited from an efficacy standpoint and not well researched as final formulations. Allopathic products do not have a very strong efficacy rating statistically. Often the side effects are as bad as the disease being treated. Citroxin has no known side effects when used according to specifications. We focus on products that will have mass market potential. We have shown positive results through testing on H5N1, Malaria, Tuberculosis, MRSA Staph, E-coli, and Listeria. The market potential for a breakthrough treatment in any of these markets presents a huge opportunity for the company.”
Some of the other products in the Company’s pipeline include an anthrax sporicidal; Auromoxin for malaria; Cinnechol, an all natural nutritional supplement designed to reduce total cholesterol level; Occusyn for Lyme disease; OraPhyte to eradicate nematodes (parasites); PurEffect acne treatment; and Trimyacin for the Tuberculosis organism.
“There are many products that are available for these conditions. Most competitors, however, are companies that create treatments using non-natural ingredients. eFoodSafety uses natural ingredients and this is what sets us dramatically apart. Our formulations employ novel ingredients, ingredient synergies, state-of-the-art technologies, clinical testing, and research and development to produce cutting-edge products. We believe that more and more consumers are searching for natural remedies to heal their health ailments. We feel that eFoodSafety has and will be setting the bar for excellence in both ingestible and topical products. Our philosophy is to create product formulations that are considered original and unique,” commented Mr. Matula.
Products that are currently marketed by the Company include Cinnergen(TM), a liquid whole food supplement that provides vital nutrients essential for metabolizing and normalizing blood sugar; Cinnergen Healing Cream, a non-toxic topical cream to repair skin problems, including sores and dryness, for patients with blood sugar level imbalances; Talsyn Scar Cream, a topical cream used for the management of keloids (raised, reddish scars that develop at the site of an injury), hypertrophic scars (a more common scar similar to keloids), erythema multiforme (a skin disorder resulting from an allergic reaction), and surgical incisions; and the Immune Boost(TM) Bar, an energy bar that enhances overall immune function and increases resistance to common viruses.
Mr. Matula added, “The Immune Boost(TM) Bar is our newest innovation. Preliminary feedback from retailers shows great potential for these energy bars, that are designed to strengthen the immune system in a convenient, tasty way. A March 2008 launch will feed into the energy bar market. The growth potential of this product can be likened to that of PowerBar(TM). Nestle(TM) acquired PowerBar(TM) at a time when PowerBar(TM) was showing roughly $140 million in revenue. The rumored sales price to Nestle(TM) was $375 million representing close to a three times premium over revenue. Creating brand recognition for Immune Boost(TM) Bar will be key to its success in the coming year as we build nationwide distribution with key mass market retailers.”
“We employ several marketing channels. We are currently in several thousand retail stores and eFoodSafety will be adding several thousand more retail stores in the coming months that will distribute current and new product lines. Direct response selling is another market venue for us. We are also very close to launching a national direct response campaign running on major cable and broadcast networks. Selling via the Internet is another distribution channel that we utilize.”
Mr. Matula concluded, “eFoodSafety recently achieved profitability on an operating basis, excluding R&D costs and stock for services expense. This is a monumental milestone for us. Our mission is to develop innovative products and technologies that improve health conditions and enhance the quality of food worldwide. Our company seeks to take advantage of the multi-million dollar markets available in the retail sector. We have positioned our unique products to compete with price, quality, and value in the retail arena.”
Editor: Thanks very much for contributing this. I had seen some commentary on this, but hadn’t seen this particular article until today. This certainly represents a wild card upside.
Thanks to Carl for posting the Knobias article. Given all the disappointments we’re expereinced with this company, it was very good to learn that they have “achieved profitability on an operating basis.” This is the best news I’ve read about ESFS in a while. Although I do sometimes get very frustrated, I still believe that this company has tremendous upside potential and, given the right developments, it could move up quickly.
Editor: Irv- let me tell you how this is going to go. This is the kind of stock and story that will frustrate all its loyal shareholders. We will all get very frustrated waiting for the stock to get moving, and people will lose patience and sell. Just about the time everyone has thrown in the towel (which could be about now), the company will deliver something big, and the stock will turn around and run right back up. It’s just that kind of situation. It looks like I will be publishing some valuable content to keep you informed sometime next week.
I keep reading comments from people expecting you to give them a miracle answer or to tell them that tommorrow the stock will go up like you have a majic ball that shows the future. I have read all the press clips and looked at all the possible multi-million dollar products this company holds and have come to the conclusion they are one major press release away from lift off. So anyone out there complaining about the price should be buying like me because I think they have hit the bottom and are on the way back up. I’m ready to make some real money on this one.
Editor: I appreciate the fact that this stock is frustrating a lot of people. As I responded to the last comment, this is the kind of stock that will turn around and run back up the charts just when everyone throws in the towel. I continue to like the company as I realize they are doing enough revenues to stay alive while positioning for something really great and long over due to happen. I also use some of the products- mostly Cinnergen, and feel they work great. I am close to publishing some very valuable content for investors.
Looks like our old buddy “Rob” is now submitting as Jim. The terrible grammar is a dead giveaway. Hey Rob/Jim – learn English! Your posts are garbled nonsense!
Editor: Like I’ve been saying, it’s a frustrating situation. It’s wearing these folks out. When it becomes emotional, and you stop clinically looking at the company, you should consider moving on.
Hi – you never really answered this, so I’d like to pose it once more please: Is the company being responsive to you these days? Beyond just re-upping your coverage contract…are they returning your calls now? Keeping you in the loop? Issuing you info? Generally being accommodating? I ask because I know for a while there it sounded like they were completely unresponsive.
Editor: Let me answer your question this way. I had an idea to provide the information I felt would be the single most valuable thing I could find out for investors. The company was very helpful in helping me get it done, but it took a few weeks as one individual involved travels a lot. I should be able to provide if for you next week sometime.
And another interesting read for shareholders and yourself. I would specifically really like to get your take on this incredible pump by Konlin. Do you feel like this is reasonable? It’s such a rah-rah pump…

Editor: Of course I believe it’s a bit hypy and aggressive, but you have to get people’s attention. It’s a great review of their product line, but what it doesn’t tell you is both the company and the market were expecting these products to begin selling very well in 2007, and they failed. As a result, the stock is priced accordingly. Hence, if they demonstrate sales are coming, the stock should start to price accordingly.
What do you know about this Proxorin™ and what can you find out? It sounds very exciting.”Product #9…e-FoodSafety.com recently announced the formulation of unique delivery systems including controlled release for oral use and transdermal for topical application for its Proxorin™ antibiotic which will initially target the MRSA (methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus) “superbug” that has been defying all treatment with conventional antibiotics.
Leslie Stahl reported on the 60 Minutes program, “…MRSA, was suddenly causing pneumonias and serious bone and skin infections so toxic that children were dying because of a lack of an effective antibiotic.”
The potential of ingestible controlled-release and transdermal delivery of an effective natural antibiotic/antiviral medication is simply enormous…what could become one of the most important medical achievements this decade.”
Thanks and looking foward to your update from Respond2 good luck
Editor: Here’s an article I published on the whole MRSA Staph issue last year:

I believe this kind of product represents a “wild card” in owning this stock. If they get the right recognition, and get the right relationship to develop and market a product of this type, this stock could go absolutely nuts. In the meantime, I am looking for good old fashioned growth in sales of their existing products to put the company in better shape while we’re waiting for the company to deliver a major breakthrough.
