It sure feels like it wants to break out

Editor: We just need some real, consistent volume to come in on the buy side. If the markets keep improving, it's inevitable.

The new symploy for Platina is PLTGQ is this a good sign that the stock is alive. It traded about 185,000 shares on 4/3/09. It almost broke one cent during the day. Considering the stock was in the fractions is this a comeback? Is there any news on the chapter 11? Do you keep contact with the management I remember you had high respect for them about a year ago. Jeresy Jim Kuwait

Editor: I'll answer the question despite the fact you have posted it in the CGYV section. There is no Platina section any longer because there is no reason to cover it. One year ago the company was borrowing money to fund drilling. If you will recall, at the time oil was charging through $100 on its way to $140, and nat gas was headed to $12. You know where we are today. It's simple- they didn't deliver on the wells to the extent they said they would, but that was ok. However, coupled with the much lowered prices they couldn't service the debt and were forced into bankruptcy, at which point I dropped it, told everyone to take the tax loss, and move on. Nothing has changed, and that's it for that one. It happens when the world is this crazy.

Glad I pickup some at 1.55 and look to buy more up to 2.00

Editor: Can't quite get the legs to really break out, but if the numbers keep improving as they have been, it's inevitable it will end up at much higher levels.
