VirTra
Systems (OTC BB: VTSI): Full Steam Ahead |
|
VirTra Systems continued gathering
a head of steam today as the company announced its first sale to a US domestic
law enforcement agency today just after the market closed. This order is
significant, as it marks VirTra's first order of the IVR-300™
HD high-resolution firearms training simulator from a municipal police
department.
Last month, VirTra delivered
is second US military sale, after making the first sale to the Air Force.
The municipality, who's name was
not disclosed, is building a new training facility. After seeing the VirTra
simulator at the TREXPO show in Long Beach, they decided to redesign their
new training facility in order to accommodate the IVR-300™.
I had the opportunity to demo the
simulator at the TREXPO show. If I were a police officer, I would definitely
want to train in this environment. Nothing at the show came close to simulating
a hostile environment. I participated in one scenario where I intervened
in a car robbery in a dark parking lot at night. I ended up being shot
from behind. If I was a real police officer, the training I received in
that scenario could have saved my life, or perhaps the lives of innocent
bystanders in a judgemental-use-of-force situation.
As you can see from the chart, the
long term uptrend in VirTra's stock which began last fall remains
intact. The stock gave some ground early in the year, but was revived when
the company announced sales to the DOD and the Air Force.
Like many of its small cap brethren,
the stock has been grinding in a range for the last month. The stock did
not give much ground in the April/May selloff, which is a bullish sign.
VirTra is hitting a lot of
singles right now, which is keeping them ahead in the game. After having
seen the technology vs. the competition, I believe it is just a matter
of time before the big bats get up and start hitting them out of the park.
I am looking for a home run on this one.
When the one and two unit orders
get delivered, look for multi unit follow up sales. Time frame: later this
year. That's when we'll have our best chance of seeing my long term $1
price target on this stock. In the interim, the company continues gathering
momentum as the individual high profile sales keep rolling in. There's
a lot of money to be made between here and $1.

VirTra Systems Sells
Simulator to Domestic Law Enforcement Agency
Tuesday June 8, 4:00
pm ET
ARLINGTON, Texas, June
8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VirTra Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VTSI
- News) today announced its initial sale of an IVR-300(TM) HD firearms
training simulator to domestic law enforcement.
The respected southeastern
police department selected VirTra Systems' new IVR-300(TM) HD high-resolution
firearms training simulator for installation in its new facility, currently
under construction, which will include integrated training and simulation
facilities. The system will also include conversion hardware allowing service
weapons to be converted into safe training weapons with realistic recoil.
Delivery will occur upon
completion of the new facility.
"We are pleased the city
council and its chief of police chose VirTra Systems' 360-degree capabilities
over other alternatives," commented Jerry Long, VirTra Systems' director
of training and simulation. "Although initially planning only an indoor
firing range, the chief advised me, after viewing demonstrations of our
new system, that the new facility will be modified to accommodate our simulator.
Choosing onsite immersive simulation over a live fire range -- and adapting
a new training facility currently under construction -- speaks volumes
about the efficacy and future of 360-degree simulation and training in
law enforcement."
"Our new IVR(TM) HD series
continues to gain acceptance in the marketplace," commented L. Kelly Jones,
VirTra Systems' chief executive officer. "With the recent simulator sales
to the U.S. military, coupled with our recent multi-unit order for our
new Immersa-Dome(TM) promotional virtual reality system, we have no doubt
of increasing momentum for our new products in both markets."
