TTNUF was out with news yesterday
morning, and I felt the news deserved it's own, fully dedicated edition.
Since yesterday's focus was NIHK, which, by the way, traded gangbusters
today, I'm bringing you my view on yesterday's
TTNUF release today.
To review, TTNUF is my most
current new idea. The company has developed what I believe could prove
to be the best facial recognition security software available today. It
is the only facial recognition software that works in any light with fairly
inexpensive camera lenses, making it highly in demand from a cost/benefit
perspective.
The software has been widely adopted
in the Far East, and currently monitors traffic at the busiest border crossing
in the entire world- the Hong Kong/China border. It is also widely used
by Chinese factories to "punch in" their employees. The company is currently
delivering about $6 million in annual sales, and has been profitable
for the past three years.
Yesterday, the company announced
it was entering a new arena in North America that I believe could represent
the catalyst that will get this stock rocketing up the charts at some point
in the future. The market loves topical companies, and this is a topic
that is on the minds of parents all across the United States.
The issue is pedophiles. The sick
individuals who prey on our children. It is an unpleasant subject, but
one we need to address as it affects the safety of our children. Pedophiles
are a growing problem today. I don't know if it has always been there and
we are just finding out about it, or if it is growing for some unexplained
reason.
If you want first hand knowledge
of the problem, just tune in to NBC's Dateline. The show has garnered
a great deal of attention from their sting operations, enticing pedophiles
into volunteer homes using chat rooms. They show up in droves. These sick
individuals simply can't help themselves.
For a pedophile, the most target
rich environment is the school. So, how do we create effective security
to keep these known pedophiles off school property?
One company has come up with a solution.
Florida based Barr Security
is offering a fairly simple yet highly effective solution. Pictured on
the left is a desktop version of their security kiosk.
Most schools have a sign in notebook
with no real security. This product replaces the sign in sheet, and is
equipped with several layers of security. It has a fingerprint identification
component, you can swipe your drivers license, and it will take your picture.
It has the ability to identify you
and compare you to the FBI's sexual offender database in a matter of seconds.
On the right their stand alone kiosk is pictured. You can place this outside
the office environment.
This station can actually take the
information from your Driver's license and create a special identification
card for future use. Of course, there is only way the machine can confirm
the identity of the driver's license holder - with your fingerprints- until
now.
According to yesterday's press release,
Barr
Security has purchased a license from TTNUF to include their
proprietary facial recognition software in the company's product offerings.
While not a sole source solution,
facial recognition software will greatly facilitate the technology's ability
to identify a pedophile. The FBI maintains a database of sexual offender
pictures, and once incorporated, these gateways will be able to snap a
digital image and get a result in seconds.
I view this as highly significant
for TTNUF and its shareholders. They are addressing and offering
a huge solution to a major problem in the US today. It is reasonably priced,
and easy to implement.
While the first step is the kiosk,
the next step has much wider applications. The kiosk system will be able
to quickly confirm the entrant is not a danger to children. However, with
a security system of this type known sex offenders are unlikely to try
to gain access.
Fast forward to the next generation.
TTNUF's
software has the ability to scan crowds for dangerous individuals of all
types: Sexual offenders, terrorist, criminals, etc. Imagine a video camera
scanning the grounds outside the schools for dangerous individuals who
would avoid a check point? TTNUF has the one to many ability for
crowd scanning today.
Yes, at some point big brother will
be watching. Big brother will be a computer that scans video images with
facial recognition software and identifies dangerous individuals. To protect
our children Big Brother needs to be watching.
Own this stock before it busts wide
open. As TTNUF continues to penetrate the North American market,
investors will start to find out. I continue to love this one up to $.65-
$.45 SSL.

Company Takes First Major Step in
Marketing Its Leading Biometric Security Solutions Products in the United
States
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct.
10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Titanium Group, Ltd. (OTC BB:TTNUF.OB - News),
a leading biometric and security solutions provider, today announced that
they have received a purchase order with BARR Security LLC, a company located
in Florida focusing on innovative solutions for school management. Titanium's
biometric face recognition technology will be marketed throughout the United
States by BARR Security.
According to the purchase
order, Titanium Group will license their proprietary biometric face recognition
technology to BARR Security for marketing distribution in the United States.
BARR will also create a number of new design applications, both software
and hardware-based, which they will add to their national marketing strategy
and networks. One of the initial strategies is to enhance an existing kiosks
product, ``Barricade,'' marketed by BARR Security with Titanium's biometric
``facial recognition'' technology. This particular product is a visitor
management system providing an access control screening security solution
designed to instantly provide identification, tracking, and screening of
visitors. The initial application will be directed to public schools and
other educational facilities, which among other benefits will assist in
screening out sexual offenders.
``This purchase order
from BARR is the first step of a comprehensive plan to bring our dynamic,
proven effective security solutions to the largest market in the world,''
said Jason Ma, CEO of Titanium Group Ltd. ``BARR Security will be of tremendous
assistance to us in application design and key distribution to the large
education market segments in the U.S. We are focused on developing a major
presence for our products and technology coast to coast in the United States.''

kiosk. Barricade extracts information from a visitor's drivers license,
captures a current photo, registers the visitor's biometric data and compares
the information against a national list of registered sex offenders. Barricade's
ability to provide information to administrators about visitors before
they enter schools is a key component to keeping unwanted visitors out
