The Drive By Santa

After a pretty rough September and October, it's very nice to note the last three ideas have at least been really good for a one day trade, and probably more over the longer term.

The last three ideas have been Santa "drive by" presents. Santa dropped a great trade in our laps, and hopefully many of you were able to benefit from the ideas.

I suspect the penny market is going to be very strong in Q1 of '12. Recent numbers out of the US economy show it's far more resilient than the market has been pricing in, and now expectations are turning. It's expected the European banking and sovereign debt crisis won't have a severe impact on the US economy.

The headline noise out of Europe will not shut off in one day. It will just get a bit quieter over time, and it will still create significant volatility in the markets. I suspect it will have run its course in the first half of 2012. After Europe passes, the Presidential Election will become the media's focus as it relates to the markets.

Here's a review of Santa's recent "Drive By Gifts". I might have something for us between Christmas and New Years. This will be an early look at a company I'll be featuring January of 2012.

Here's a review of the last 3 ideas. While these have been good, it will be far better in Q1 of '12.

The Drive By Winners

Here's the last 3 trading ideas on chronological order.

VRAL, which I featured back on November 21st, traded from an entry level of $.024 to a high of almost $.045 in 4 trading days. At the top, this was a 87.5% gainer.

The reincarnated BERX was finally nice rather than naugthy for a couple of days. It traded from an entry level of $.10 to a high of $.17 in two trading days, yielding a 70% gain from entry level to drop in the Santa drive by rally.

Craigslist imitator FROG also did very well. The entry level on that idea was $.415, and within two trading days the stock hit a high of nearly $.60 for a gain in the 45% range short term.

I could give you a preliminary look at a new idea next week. We'll see.

In the meantime, I have a lot planned for Q1 of 2012. I'll be featuring some new ideas that will be longer term coverages. I believe US equities will be the place to be during that time. I believe penny stocks will do well. Should be a profitable and fun new year.
