To OTC Journal Members:

Aside from the recent rebound in StockGroup Holdings (OTC BB: SWEB), we haven't had many positives to talk about in our little universe of micro cap stocks. The summer rally many were hoping for has not materialized, and we may be looking at the fourth quarter before we can start seeing the kinds of returns we saw prior to the April sell off. In our opinion we are still in a bear market. With 75% of reporting companies coming in over analysts' estimates, and benign comments from Greenspan on Thursday, the market had every reason to break through the 4400 resistance level, but sold off three out of five days this past week.

However, even in this choppy market there is money to be made.

Daily Swing Pick Ideas

The micro cap market will always be the primary focus of the OTC Journal. At the same time we continue to seek out unique investments ideas, strategies, and value-added situations for our members.

Earlier this month we brought on a new editor to provide technical trading ideas. His first pick was posted on the site just after 4th of July weekend, and he is establishing an excellent track record.

You can find his daily pick at the Daily Swing Pick Button on the left hand menu bar of the home page. Each day a stock large cap stock is selected for a short term trade. An Entry Price, Target Price, and Stop Loss is provided. This service is designed for investors seeking short term trading ideas.

Active traders will want to use this service. We plan on coupling this with the new StockTalkLive application for tracking your stocks. Later in the summer we will be introducing our members an online brokerage firm with a direct execution system. This will make your Datek and Etrade accounts look like ancient history. It will give you the power to bypass the market makers who are taking a profit on every trade you make. These three services combined will provide the complete package for Swing and Day Traders.

Here is a record of the Swing Trades that the OTC Journal has suggested in July:

 July HISTORY:

MRVC stopped out at $72.00 shorted at $65.00                            -10.6%
DELL was a virtual push.
MEDI opened at $77.00, stopped out at $72.00                            -6.9%
DIGL WINNER!! recommended at $97.00 hit $125.00 on 7/17 still long  +19.58%
RSYS recommended at $47.00, now at $54.50                               +19.14%
SAWS recommended at $65.00, hit $73.00 next day, moved stock to entry point stopped out for a push, however there was a 12% profit on the table within one day
BEAS recommended $57, stopped $56.00                                     - 1.7%
CNXT recommend at $51.00, stopped out at $39.00 on a gap down  -23.00%
ACTM recommended SHORT at $48.00 now $37.50 still open           +28.00%
ISLD recommended SHORT at $36.50, now at $32.00 still open        +10.9%
LCOS recommended at $54.00 now at $58.81 (off $61+ high today) +7.6%
CSCO recommended by in here with $66 stop on close

Please note that these stocks are selected on a technical basis. There are no fundamental factors considered. DIGL, RSYS, and ACTM have been real winners.

You might want to come to the site each morning a start following these ideas. Clearly, in a very choppy market we have had several excellent Swing Picks.

Competitors in the Referral Contest can use our daily swing pick as a tool to help improve your performance. If you are skilled at navigating the Internet, and familiar with chat rooms where investments are being discussed, you can make your own postings to recruit more members. Our current recommendation in Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO). There are hundreds of chat rooms all over the Internet where investors are discussing the merits of Cisco and other companies with the same industry group. Anybody discussing Cisco in a chat room is likely to be interested in learning about the buy recommendation in the OTC Journal. Make them aware of it, collect a referral, and then collect cash from the OTC Journal at the end of September.

Don't forget that next Wednesday is our July MVP award issue. We have obtained a free 10 week subscription to the Wall Street Journal on behalf of our members. Any wishing to take advantage of this free, no strings attached offer should sign up next Wednesday.

This is the last week to take advantage of June's MVP Award, which is a two week trial subscription to the eGoose Swing Trading Advisory, which in our opinion is the premier service on the Internet for multiple short term trading ideas and market forecasting. If you are interested in learning how to trade on a short term basis, this is the best place for you to be. In the last week alone the advisory service at eGoose took 23 1/2 points in profits on closed out positions with an average hold time of 2 1/2 days. Click Here to sign up for a two week, no strings attached trial subscription, or visit the Swing Trading Advisory Button on the left hand menu bar of our home page.
