To OTC Journal Members:

Special Announcement

As noted in our weekend edition, the market is very tough right now. We don't plan to introduce any new ideas in the next few weeks as our last several attempts have behaved poorly.

There is very little interest in the market. The NASDAQ is entering its fourth month in the 1950 to 2100 range, and volume is extremely thin. Analysts are talking about a bottom in the economy with improving visiblilty in the 4th quarter. A few brave analysts are beginning to issue buy recommendations in the beleagured technology sector.

The OTC Journal plans to continue its focus on four main companies as listed below:

  • Energy Power Systems Limited (OTC BB: EYPSF)
  • MedGrup Corp (OTC BB: CODX)
  • XML Global (OTC BB: XMLG)
  • Envoy Communications (NASDAQ: ECGI)
As we near September we are getting closer to the end of the seasonal summer doldrums. It is time to evaluate your positions and decide whether to buy, sell, or hold in anticipation of post Labor Day volatility. We suspect some of these oversold stocks will rebound, but short term market predictions are very tough.

Upcoming Audio Interviews

Next Wednesday, August 8th, we will begin a series of interviews with the CEO's of our four featured companies. The interviews will be carried in the Wednesday editions beginning August 8th, and completing on August 29th.

The interviews will be streamed via audio feed on the Internet. When you receive your newsletter, simply click on the link, and the live interview will come out of your computer speakers as long as you are on the Internet while you are listening.

We are planning on providing a written transcript of each interview for those who do not have speakers on their computers.

The first interview will be with Jim Cassina, President and CEO of Energy Power Systems Limited. It will be published next Wednesday, August 8th. The interview will not be live, but we are accepting questions from members. We will ask the substantive ones on your behalf.

If you have any questions you would like us to ask of Jim Cassina, please email them to eypsf@otcjournal.com, and send them as soon as possible.

The CEO's of three of our four featured companies have agreed to this program. We are still awaiting a reply from Geoff Genovese of Envoy Communications. We don't expect any reluctance to participate.

We have several other special events planned for the month of August, so stand by for exciting new features.
