June
MVP Award |
 |
To thank you for your continued membership
in the OTC Journal we are proud to award you with 100 new MVP points
in our Membership Value Points (MVP) Program. For each award period
you are actively enrolled in our list, you will be issued points, which
you can redeem for valuable rewards.
Over the last three months we have
brought you free trial subscriptions for both Forbes and the Wall
Street Journal. Last month we brought you a free trial subscription
to Investor's Business Daily along with a the publisher's current
best selling book for free. You cannot find these special benefits anywhere
else on the Internet.
This month's MVP Award is
very exciting. It is tailored specifically for investors seeking short
term trading ideas. As always, it is free.
Followers of the OTC Journal
know that our primary theme involves investment ideas in small and micro
cap companies which we find before they show up on the radar screens of
Wall Street money managers. The profit potential with these types of investments
is maximized for investors that have a six to eighteen month investment
horizon.
We also know that many investors
are interested in shorter term trading ideas where a stock may be held
anywhere from minutes to several days for a quick profit.
We have spent the last two months
experimenting with various advisory services and have come up with what
we believe to be the best short term trading advisory service available
on the Internet today.
This service focuses on a trading
style known as Swing Trading which differs from Day Trading.
Day traders, by definition, go to 100% cash by the end of each market day.
Swing Trades may have a life
span of anywhere from 30 minutes up to several days or weeks. Every open
position is accompanied by a target price and a stop loss in the event
that the stock moves against you. Stop losses are critical as preservation
of capital is a key component in being a successful Swing Trader.
Over the last two months we have
monitored this advisory service's track record. They have offered great
trading ideas and superior profits for participants. One of our editors
locked in some excellent short term gains in his portfolio using their
service. Short term traders measure returns in the number of points they
profit from trades.
This advisory service booked a net of 98
points in profits on opened and closed positions in the month of June through
Friday of last week. Another words, if you
had picked up 1,000 shares of every stock they recommended that you buy
and sell, you would have made a net profit of $98,000 less brokerage
fees.

How it Works |
|
There are two primary components
to their service. The first is a daily newsletter which is delivered by
e-mail. The e-mail provides a link to their newsletter which is displayed
in Adobe Acrobat. Each day technical market conditions and charts are reviewed
and and there is an analysis of each of the major indexes.
In addition there are specific recommendations
in stocks with both target prices and stop loss settings. Investors can
act on these ideas easily without monitoring their positions on a minute-by-minute
basis.
There is also an online chat room
where positions are opened and closed as market conditions change during
the day and stocks break out of trading ranges.
The Chat Room software is by far the best we reviewed. Sound effects come
out of your speakers to indicate important events. This allows you to minimize
the Chat Room while you're running other applications and still monitor
activity. The chat room is an important component in the advisory service.
