To OTC Journal Members:

Market Comment- Market Could Break Either Way- Wait For Opportunities

As mentioned in our mid week edition we see no exciting trading ideas at this time. The NASDAQ is looking a bit tired, and a pullback into the 1220 range would be the catalyst for some ideas on the long side.

Since nothing ever goes straight up, particularly with today's high levels of uncertainty about the future, an upside surge on NASDAQ into the 1340 to 1350 range, which would precipitate a few short or put ideas from the OTC Journal for a trade only.

As mentioned in our last edition, we believe there may have been a paradigm shift whereby profitable trading and investing will come predominantly from buying pullbacks. Selling rallies has been the best strategy for the past 2 1/2 years, but things may have changed. Therefore, we would prefer a pullback into the 1220 range.

We still love CALY, XMLG, and SWEB in the penny stock arena for longer term holds. All have been the subject of numerous editions.

Upcoming Events

We are reviewing several exciting new ideas in the microcap arena. Companies that have survived this economic turndown and are financially healthy can rebound easily in a more favorable market climate.

There are dozens of stocks trading in the $.15 to $.50 area that used to be $5.00. Many of these stocks will double and triple over the course of a few months as the selling pressure is relieved and a few buyers resurface.

There is a high probability we will bring you a new idea next Friday, November 1st. Stand by for next weekend's edition.

Several of the low priced opportunities we are currently reviewing are companies that will benefit greatly from increased military and homeland security. It's a different world than it was a year ago. Daily reports of international terrorism, possible domestic terrorist plots, and pending war all point to a surge of defense and security spending. Each of the companies we are looking at already have real business models, strong current sales, extremely oversold stocks, and strong growth opportunities from increased military and homeland security spending.

Get Paid Cash For Participating in Product Surveys

From time to time we are presented with opportunities that have valuable upside and no downside for our members. We refer to this as our MVP Program.

MVP opportunity today: GlobalMarketInsite, based in Issaquah, Washington, wants you to participate in product surveys, and is willing to pay you cash for your time and input. You could be asked to give feedback on anything from household cleaning products, to cell phone service, to a car purchase.

GlobalMarketInsite is an online survey company. Their client list includes such household names as Proctor & Gamble, Seagrams, Bristol Myers, and many other well known consumer goods manufacturers.

They are building an International database or "Panel" of participants who are asked to participate in product surveys. They are retained by these large consumer companies to perform product research.

If you become a participant or "Panel Member", you will be paid cash for participating in surveys. Your participation can range from simply filling out a questionnaire on the internet to actually using a product and providing feedback. The more time required, the more you get paid.

There are no gimmicks, no cost to you, and no strings attached. Simply fill out the online form and wait for them to contact you. If are contacted to participate in a survey, you get paid.

Every time you participate in a survey or refer a friend you receive anywhere from 20 to 100 points or higher. Each point is worth $.10. You have your own password protected online account where you can track your point totals. Once you have accumulated a minimum of 1000 points, you can instruct GMI to mail you a check for $100 or more.

Members from all corners of the globe can participate. GMI's currently has panelists are in 180 countries.

Watch What You Read Carefully

For the past six months someone has been publishing a blatant imitation of the OTC Journal. Called the OTC Newsletter, and using the same color scheme and slogan as we use, someone has been spamming this rag all over the internet.

Many our of loyal members have been courteous enough to bring this cheap piece of garbage to our attention. Thank you very much. Your concern is appreciated.

There is very little we can do to stop this. The spammers sending out this rag are using multiple ISPs all over the world, so it is impossible to identify the perpetrator and take legal action.

Their spam always features the same write up on a stock which trades under the symbol CBYI. We would strongly recommend avoiding this stock or selling if you have inadvertently invested, assuming it was an idea which originated with the real OTC Journal. Any company that would sponsor or condone this type of crude promotion must be suspect.

Next week: Market will dictate any trading ideas. More details about next Friday's release.
