Field Point Petroleum (AMEX: FPP): A Cool 14% Gainer

As we roll into our annual Turkey Day festivities, I'm thankful for a relatively good call on FieldPoint (AMEX: FPP). The stock is up a cool 14% from Friday morning's entry level, and that's not so bad. I'll take 14% returns in a couple of days anytime.

FPP is the first in a series of new short term ideas. These are trading opportunities, and if the trade goes our way, don't be shy about taking a profit. 

And, while take a profit is really nice, avoiding a big loss is even more important. Therefore, if I suggest any idea for a trade, and it goes against us in the short run, get out quickly. Small losses are easy to recoup. Big losses are much tougher. 

It's undoubtedly going to be quiet for the remainder of the week with a downside bias. Next week could be the beginning of the annual Santa Rally. I'll try to start the Post Turkey day rally off with a bang.

13% was nice, but 30% to 40% would be a lot nicer, and emminently possible.
