Don't Say You
Weren't Warned; Part Deux (II) |
|
Every year I publish somewhere in
the neighborhood of 100 to 120 editions of the OTC Journal. It is
my mission to be the single best and most honest source for microcap ideas
you can find. I know of no other microcap resource that provides anything
close to our content. Sure, we have some losers- it's an inherent part
of microcap investing. However, no other newsletter tells you when you
have a loser, when it's time to throw in the towel, and gives you more
detailed opinionated content on an ongoing basis. Also, there is no other
microcap newsletter providing a forum for ongoing dialogue and direct communication
with the editor- you can do that in the OTC Journal through both
the Blog and by simply emailing editor@otcjournal.com.
Every year out of the 100 plus editions
there are always a couple that stand out. So far, this year's most prophetic
edition would have to go to May
21st- the edition entitled "Don't Say You Weren't Warned". I
could simply republish that edition at about the same time every year.
The theme- the summer doldrums are coming, and if you aren't prepared to
hold your positions through the miserable, low volume, down ticking summer
months, sell them and get out. I set SSLs (Suggest Stop Losses) for every
followed company at that time.
When I published that edition, I
had no way of knowing that oil and gold prices would skyrocket in June,
and microcaps would get clobbered. Every featured stock traded below its
SSL
with the exception of my best current idea- Commerce Planet (OTC BB:
CPNE).
September is now in the rear view
mirror, and it's time to turn reverse the order. We are now entering the
period of time during which microcap stocks tend to trade great. It seems
each year the "switch" turns on at a different time- two years ago it started
right now. Last year is started in January.
Regardless, this is "Don't Say
You Weren't Warned" - but it's the October version. Now, I am warning
you it is time to be fully invested. This is our time of the year. Now
is the time to beef up your ownership in stories you like. You will always
make the most money in microcaps between now and May.
There is very recent evidence to
support this argument. Forget the fact that oil and gold are getting clobbered
and the market is moving up nicely at the same time. Forget that the DOW
has finally, after five years of struggle, made a new all time high (isn't
that what markets are supposed to do?).
Let's just look at the two most recent
OTC
Journal ideas. On September 18th I introduced Auriga Labs (OTC BB:
ARGA) at $1.50. The stock traded over $2 yesterday, and is now
sitting on a 23% gain. That's in a mere two weeks.
Two weekends ago I introduced PhotoChannel
Networks (OTC BB: PHCHF) at $.19. Yesterday the stock traded
to almost $.26, and is now holding up at about the $.23 level.
That's a 21% gain at the current level in about 8 trading
days.
Furthermore, OTC Journal #1
pick Commerce Planet (OTC BB: CPNE) is once again trading at a new
multi month high of $1.60 plus- My September
25th BLOG stated it was a good technical buy at $1.20. If you
don't own that stock I'm not doing a very good job convincing you the company
is exploding. Even if I haven't done a good job, the way the stock is trading
should have convinced you by now.
These aren't mega breakouts- yet.
The best is yet to come. The next six months is the time make some real
money.
Earlier in September I informed everyone
there would be three new OTC Journal ideas coming out in the near
future. So far, with ARGA and PHCHF we have two legs of the
three legged stool. Both have been unqualified winners so far.
This weekend I will be introducing
the third leg of the three legged stool. Here's a hint- it's the only company
on Planet Earth actually making a profit in facial recognition
software. They are miles ahead of the crowd, and are doing real installations
where there is a real need with revolutionary technology. Check your
inbox over the weekend. This one looks very exciting. |

Comments in the BLOG
|
This week the BLOG was visited
by two new entries- both are stocks which are doing very well for us. First,
there is a BLOG entry on the very nice move Commerce Planet (OTC
BB: CPNE) made on Monday morning to a new multi month high on its inevitable
march north of $2. I can't wait for this stock to print at a new
all time high. I am quite certain it will happen in conjunction with Q3
numbers, if not sooner. In the previous BLOG on CPNE I suggested
the stock had traded to a great entry level at $1.20- it's now $1.60.
In this BLOG entry I suggest a little caution. The moral of the
story- follow the BLOG for the best entry and exit levels.
Secondly, recent new idea PhotoChannel
(OTC BB: PHCHF) was also the subject of some comments. The stock has
already appreciated 30% in the first week of coverage at the high
print, and I believe a little caution might be in order on this one as
well.
The BLOG is your opportunity
to ask questions and offer comments. I will make an effort to answer every
legitimate question. If I don't know the answer, I will contact the management
and get the answer. Alternatively, if you have questions you don't want
publicly displayed, you can always email me directly at editor@otcjournal.com.
To use the BLOG, simply go
to the home page at www.otcjournal.com
- the BLOG will scroll down automatically on the right side of your
screen. The most current journal entries appear in the middle of your screen.
Check back frequently for updates particularly when stocks are moving to
overbought or oversold levels in volatile markets.
