To OTC Journal Members: The response we had to Wednesday's edition on the Private Placement of IXPRES.com was overwhelming. If you filled in the form to request more information, please allow the company at least two weeks to get back in touch with you. They are trying to fill thousands of requests with limited manpower. Neptune Society (OTC BB: NPTNE) Neptune was our October profile, and since our coverage began the stock has not done much. They now have the dreaded "E" on the end of their symbol, signifying that they could be delisted from the Bulletin Board if they haven't finished their Form10SB process in the near term. We learned from management today that they will probably be through the regulatory process within the next ten days, and there is little risk that they will lose their listing. Furthermore, there have been some very exciting corporate events recently that have gone unreported until they are done with the 10SB process which will come out afterwards. You might want to read the original profile on this one in anticipation of good things to come. However, only read it if you like companies with good solid fundamentals that make money. If you don't like profitable companies, don't bother. Click Here to read the original profile. Envoy Communications (TSE: ECG) Whenever possible we like to pick out one of our covered companies, contact management, interview them, and share the information with you. When we do this, we try to select companies with stocks that we feel are currently undervalued, and have upcoming events which might lead to appreciation. We have been covering Envoy
since July, and we believe that this company will pop up on Wall Street's
radar screen this year. If you have any doubt as to why we feel this
way, simply examine the table below:
With trailing earnings of $.20 and this explosive growth rate, we believe that if this company were trading on the NASDAQ it would command a PE of at least 50, suggesting a stock price of $10. It closed at $7.35 today. We spoke with the President Geoff Genovese, and CFO Joe Leder on Wednesday of this week for about two hours to learn where this company is headed. The first question we asked was when are you going to finally get your NASDAQ listing? We have been talking about it since last summer. They are currently projecting late February to Early March, and only because the SEC regulatory process is so slow and cumbersome. They also indicated that when it does happen, it will happen with a great deal of publicity. We also learned that based on the business they currently have booked, they are in a position to enjoy $6 to $7 million in profits this fiscal year, which is about a 41% increase over last year. More importantly, most of 1999's growth was the result of four acquisitions they completed that year. Their goal is to complete four more acquisitions this year, and hopefully with larger and more profitable companies than in 1999. They believe that they can achieve this. Another exciting event is the formal launching of their new site- Appstreet.com. It can be found at www.appstreet.com, and the formal launching will be Monday. This is one of the first sites to feature the ability to "rent" certain types of software for unique projects. Decision Room, the Project management Internet Based software package that they are jointly marketing with IBM (NYSE: IBM) is the flagship product of this new E-Commerce Site. When the original introduction of this product was announced, the stock traded up to an all time high of $10. Once recognized, we believe that Wall Street will be willing to pay a lot more for the stock than the value it is getting in the relative obscurity of the Toronto Stock Exchange. We have learned that there is a US trading symbol for the stock. It is ENVFF. We are not sure how it trades, but it can be bought and sold in US dollars under that symbol through your On-Line discount brokerage firm. Your other alternative is to trade it by placing a phone call to your brokerage firm's foreign securities trading desk. If you have never read about Envoy Communications, you might want to read the original profile, which you can get to by Clicking Here. Have a nice weekend.
January's profile is scheduled for next Friday, and it will be an exciting company.
