AXIH Forensic Analysis |
|
Axion International (AXIH) made a reasonable move this week, there was an opportunity to get into the stock at the right price if you moved quickly.
The stock was again hit the $1.40 level- an new two month high, and hado one of the highest volume days in months.
Risk investors are just starting to warm up to this one, and I expect a breakthrough year with a lot more contracts similar to the one annouced with DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit).
Also- don't forget about their $15 million contract with one of the major US railways. The contract calls for $5 million in orders every year for the next three years. This monster breakthrough for the company happened in Q1. They got an additional $8.5 million in financing just recently.
Next step? I'll bet it's time to start filling the first order, which will give us a big pop in numbers soon.
And, don't forget about Alcoa Fastenings in Australia. That one will be kicking off soon.
I got a couple emails from folks who put in limit orders and didn't get filled. If you like this one, make them GTCs- Unless there's really big news coming next week, the stock might back down a bit.

Part Deux This Week- Hot, Cold, and Heating Up Again: Envision Solar (EVSI) |
|
Ever feed a stray cat? Once you've done so, it's impossible to get rid of them. If you gave them something they liked, they'll always come back for more.
Remember EVSI? The niche San Diego based solar company who's installing solar farms all over the US in parking lots? I first wrote about this company back in March when it came to my attention from a NY Times article.
The other thing that attracted my attention? The price, volume, and movement in the stock. Look at the month of March for this idea. This stock moved from about $.40 to a high of nearly $.85. That's more than double your money in one month if you were a clever trader.
Technicallly, it looks to me like this one is getting ready to make another move.
The stock completed a round trip with a brief stop back around the $.40 level, and is now gaining ground on increasing volume.
I am a shareholder in this one. I bought shares in the open market, and at present own about 70,000 shares ranging in price from about $.45 to $.70.
I've been expecting a Deja Vu of March all over again. Like the hungry cat who's been fed, I'm coming back to this one for another meal- hopefully a meal of profts.
Looks really good. You'll see increasing price and volume starting to gather momentum. Setting up for a great June trade.
