Family Room (OTC BB: FMLY)- Back in Theaters This Fall

Family Room was back in the news this morning with several positive developments which bode well for shareholders. The company announced that filming has begun in Eastern Europe on a film titled "Control". Ray Liotta plays the lead role, with Willem Dafoe (Spiderman) and Michelle Rodriguez (S.W.A.T., The Fast and the Furious) costarring.

The news release went on to reveal that, "Wonderland" starring Val Kilmer, Lisa Kudrow, Kate Bosworth, and Dylan McDermott has been accepted into the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival and will have its world premier at the Festival. Emmett and Furla executive produced "Wonderland" which was directed by James Cox. Lions Gate will release the film theatrically in September.

Family Room has a percentage of the producer profits for Wonderland. Lions Gate is distributing the film, and it will be in theaters. If the film garners audience acceptance, and does somewhere in the range of $25 million at the box office, Family Room is likely to enjoy some producer profits from the film, which will flow right to the bottom line.

Other projects in the pipeline of new properties also all hold profit potential for the company. Most of the current projects are listed in today's press release.

For immediate profit potential, management at Family Room is very excited about the remake of the Amityville Horror which was previously announced, and the Abominable Snowman project the company will coproduce with Ilya Sulkind of the Superman Series and Gale Anne Hurd, the producer from the Terminator Series and the Hulk

There has to be at least one big winner in the last of projects you will find in the press release below. I don't know which one it will be, but I do know that a $1 million profit payday on one of these projects turns into $.05 per share in earnings.

I still believe this stock will find $.25 before the end of the year. Some catalyst will drive this stock higher. In the meantime, very low risk entry point in the $.12 to $.14 range.

I strongly recommend you read the following press release. You decide if there is a big money maker on this list.

Emmett/Furla Films Gets Ray Liotta under ``Control,'' Orders ``Room Service'' and Finds ``Wonderland'' in Toronto

Thursday September 4, 6:30 am ET

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 4, 2003--Emmett/Furla Films, a wholly owned subsidiary of Family Room Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB: FMLY - News), is very excited to announce that the motion picture "Control" commenced filming on August 24th in East Europe with Ray Liotta in the lead role.

Tim Hunter ("River's Edge") is set to direct the picture. Willem Dafoe ("Spiderman," "Shadow of the Vampire," "The English Patient") and Michelle Rodriguez ("S.W.A.T.," "Girlfight," "The Fast and the Furious," "Blue Crush," "Resident Evil") are already set in co-starring roles. Ray Liotta replaces Matt Dillon. The screenplay for "Control" was written by Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer. Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce the picture under their fifteen-picture production/finance arrangement with Avi Lerner's Millennium Films. Emmett/Furla owns approximately twenty five percent (25%) of the net profits of the Picture.

Emmett and Furla stated, "We are excited to have Ray Liotta on board. Collaborating with Ray again we believe will yield a movie which will be as exciting for audiences as our last collaboration, the much lauded 'Narc'."

"Control" is the story of a sociopathic killer on death row (Liotta) who's given a chance to live if he agrees to take part in a top secret chemical behavioral modification program run by a brilliant doctor, played by Dafoe. As the killer's personality begins to change, both he and the doctor must take drastic measures when the violent past comes back to haunt them both. Rodriguez will play the love interest of Liotta.

Emmett/Furla Films is also pleased to announce that they have acquired Beverly Brandt's novel "Room Service" and have partnered with Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Motion Pictures to produce the picture. "Room Service" marks the third collaboration for Emmett/Furla and Valhalla. Randall Emmett and George Furla with Gale Anne Hurd will produce the picture, which is currently out to writers.

"Room Service" is a romantic comedy in the vein of "Maid in Manhattan." When spoiled young heiress Katya Morgan is disinherited by her father, she's forced to abandon her socialite lifestyle and take a job as a maid in the hotel where she once lived lavishly. Working to pay off her tab, she finds love along the way, and manages to pass tests secretly laid out in her father's will. When she earns back the inheritance she thought she'd never receive, she learns her greatest lesson: that sometimes getting what you don't want is the best reward of all.

Finally, Emmett/Furla Films is proud to announce that "Wonderland" starring Val Kilmer, Lisa Kudrow (TV's "Friends"), Kate Bosworth ("Blue Crush") and Dylan McDermott (TV's "The Practice") has been accepted into the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival and will have its world premier at the Festival. Emmett and Furla executive produced "Wonderland" which was directed by James Cox. Lions Gate will release the film theatrically in September.

Emmett and Furla are currently executive producing "Love Song for Bobby Long," which is being produced by Bob Yari and Paul Miller, directed by Shaniee Gable and which stars John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson. "Love Song for Bobby Long" is currently filming in New Orleans. Emmett/Furla are currently in post-production "Blind Horizon" from freshman helmer Michael Haussman and starring Val Kilmer, Neve Campbell and Sam Shepard. Emmett/Furla recently announced that they would be producing "Micronauts," and "The Abominable Snowman" with Gale Anne Hurd. Ilya Salkind will also produce "The Abominable Snowman".

Family Room Entertainment Corporation, with its subsidiaries, Emmett Furla Films Productions, Emmett Furla Films Distribution and EFF Independent, is a publicly held company trading on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board under the symbol "FMLY." Family Room Entertainment develops, produces and performs production related services for the entertainment industry. Family Room Entertainment's aim is to create and produce high quality motion pictures with high profile talent that can be distributed to a worldwide audience. However, there is no assurance that any motion picture, which has not yet been released, will be released, that a change in the scheduled release dates of any such films will not occur or, if such motion picture is released, it will be successful.
