To OTC Journal Members:

In case you haven't looked, Santa has left a very exciting Christmas present under the trees of our members that own NetSol International (OTC BB: NTWK).

The company was our first profile of 1999, and by far our very best.  The stock has been a rocketship lately, closing today at nearly $18 per share.    Our last update of December 6th had the stock at $10.50.   Based on today's closing price, this stock has appreciated 363% since we launched our original profile at $3.75 on January 15th.

We have been receiving dozens of e-mails from members wondering if they should sell at these levels.  We don't give specific advice concerning exactly when to buy or sell.  However, we do feel that any prudent investor would be compelled to sell one half their position of any stock that has traded this well.  Doing so allows you to get your initial capital back along with a nice profit, but permits you to participate if the stock climbs considerably higher.  In this market environment there is no telling where this stock will end up in 30 days.  We would not be surprised to see the stock near $30 or near $10.

A quick review of our October 9th edition could give us a clue as to why the stock has done so well.  We covered the 13-G SEC filing by Blue Water Partners, a hedge fund that had accumulated over 900,000 shares of the stock in open market purchases.   We also compared the company to Infosys (NASDAQ: INFY), and surmised that the comparative valuations may be the catalyst that was drawing hedge fund managers to the stock.  Click Here if you want to review that edition.

Tonight we were contacted by management and learned that their application for a NASDAQ listing had been approved, and that by the time you read this edition NetSol International (OTC BB: NTWK) should be trading on the regular NASDAQ.  From here forward we will be referring to the company as Netsol International (NASDAQ: NTWK).

The jump to the NASDAQ will open the stock to a much larger audience of investors.  Whether this will lead to higher or lower prices in the short term is unknown.  However, as this company continues to grow, the stock will trade much more efficiently, and fundamental milestones will be reflected in the movement of the price more readily.  We believe that this is just the first of several profiled companies that will make the jump from the current exchanges onto the NASDAQ.  The next one will probably be Envoy Communications (TSE: ECG).

Congratulations to our member that own this one.  This is what risk is all about, and it feels great to win!!!!!!

US Microbics (OTC BB: BUGS)

In the last week there have been two very exciting news releases issued by US Microbics.  It appears that this company is finally beginning to live up to expectations, albeit at least six months behind schedule.  We will be in contact with management next week to get a better understanding of the outlook for the Year 2,000.

We bring this to your attention because the stock is starting to behave well, and these are news releases bode well for commercial success in 2,000.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Seasons Greetings.  Don't forget those less fortunate in this Holiday season.  Next week we will publish our year end edition with thoughts on every company we profiled in 1999, and their outlook for year 2,000.
