Cross Media Marketing, the stock we stated was our best pick for 2002, has finally succumbed to selling pressure over the past five trading days. This stock had be holding up well in the mid to high $11 range throughout this bear market, but the stock inexplicably dropped about 20% this past week.

According to Cross Media's publicly stated projections, the company is on track to earn at least $1.25 per share this year on $200 million in revenues. This is up from $.86 per share in earnings on $100 million in revenues in 2001.

By any standard you can measure a stock- PE ratio, growth to sales, any measure of your choosing- this stock is a screaming buy at these levels. Of course, due to the extreme levels of fear, you should only considering investing if you have a minimum window in time of several months. Several years would be preferable.
