1st Net Update (OTC BB: FNTT)

The stock of our parent company, 1st Net Technologies nearly doubled since Wednesday of last week, closing Friday at $3.875.  Special thanks and congratulations to those many members that hold shares of 1st Net stock, as it has been in a slow and painful descent since July due to poor market conditions and a lack of substantive news.

Press releases concerning the unveiling of the long awaited Crayon Crawler at the upcoming COMDEX show seemed to spark renewed interest in the stock.  Stay tuned for more positive developments concerning this product in the future.

The Angel Network

Today's edition deals with an issue that we get a lot of questions about.  Investors are always reading and hearing about the extraordinary returns enjoyed by ground floor investors that put their capital at risk in companies prior to going public.

Did you know that early stage investors owned the following:

  • America On-Line (NYSE: AOL) at $1.35 (5/28/92)
  • Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) at $.42 (10/11/90)
  • Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) at $1.45 (7/21/86)
  • Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) at $.39 (8/4/86)
These are extreme examples of highly successfull ground floor investments.  For every one of these there were many that failed.  This is a high risk investment arena.

High net worth investors are interested in learning more about true Ground Floor Opportunities.  In order to meet the demand for information on these types of investments, 1st Net Technologies has formed the Angel Network.

The Angel Network is a web-site and associated e-mail newsletter dedicated to educating investors about private placements in Companies that plan to go public at some point in the future.  Once public, early stage investors often enjoy returns that are far greater than those experienced by post IPO investors.

Subscription to the Angel Network is limited to investors who satisfy the definition of an "accredited investor" which the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission set forth in Rule 501 of Regulation D (17 CFR 230.501). Under that definition, an accredited investor includes:

  • Any natural person whose individual net worth, or joint net worth with that person's spouse, exceeds $1,000,000; or
  • Any natural person who had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the two most recent years or joint income with that person's spouse in excess of $300,000 in each of those years and has a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year.
You need not read on if the above description does not include you.

Angel Network Benefits

There is no charge for subscribing to the Angel Network.  If you choose to enroll at the web site you will receive the following:

  • A monthly newsletter which concerns some aspect of investments in Private Placements; ie: Types of Private Placements, Regulatory Requirements, Tax Aspects, Identifying Characteristics for the best Potential Candidates for investment.
  • Brief Summaries of Private Placement Investment Opportunities.
We will establish a team of specialists to review early stage companies seeking capital.  As a member, you will receive an overview of the opportunity via e-mail.  If you have an interest in pursuing the opportunity, simply reply, and a representative of the Company seeking funding will contact you directly and get you the complete documentation associated with the Private Placement.  From there, the decision to invest will be yours.

You will not be directly contacted by anyone unless you request more information.

Investment amounts will range from $2,500 on the low end upwards of $200,000 for a suitable investor.  All Federal and State Regulations governing these types of investments will be strictly adhered to.

These investments have traditionally been reserved for sophisticated Venture Capital Fund Managers.  Only the Super Rich and Institutions have been capable of investing in the Venture Capital funds.

The 10 year Bull Market has created substantial wealth for many investors that wish to be more pro-active with their capital in seeking new high return situations.  The Angel Network can help fill that need.
